Charles L. Davis 's Story

Charles L. Davis
During the war Chuck as he was called served in the US Marine Corps in San Diego, CA. He did not go overseas. He returned to Fort Collins and started working in sheet metal work at Forneys; he then worked in Cheyenne, Wyoming; and from there moved back to Fort Collins to work at the Hewlett Packard Co from whence he retired after many years in their service.
His wife Dorothy will tell you how much he liked people. Between the two they had 3 children and six grandchildren, Chuck had kidney problems which resulted in his death on January 29th, 1986. They also lost their oldest daughter the same year- a hard year it was for Dorothy and her family. Dorothy still enjoys the senior Olympics.
